I'm going to Otakon this year (my 3rd year) and I'm going to be on the lookout for some good yaoi. The problem is, I'm not quite sure what would be considered "good." So I was wondering if anyone would like to recommend some good yaoi for me to look out for. It can be a DVD, Manga, anything that I may find down in the dealers room. So far I have all of the Gravitation DVDs and Only the Ring Finger Knows manga.

I like FAKE, and Selfish Love, and Passion. The Gravitation manga are pretty cool too. OH... and Kizuna. :)

I don't know if these are offered in America but I think Otakon should have some:

Any and all doujinshi by yubinbasaya and K2 and get any manga (although I don't know of any venders that sell yaoi manga but maybe I wasn't looking hard enough) by Masara Minase, Ayano Yamane, Taishi Zaou, and Asami Toujou. Some titles I would recommend (and all these are unlicensed) would be Vibrator Company, Viewfinder, and Love Mode. Good luck!

I recommend, for anime: Ai no Kusabi, FAKE

For manga: anything by Haruka Minami (kinda shota-ish though)

Hmmm...I'd had to say Kyou Kara Maou for anime, though it's not really 'yaoi', just...tons upon tons of gay implications. XD;; Even though it's not explicitly yaoi, it's still damned hilarious, and pretty much a must-see. ^________^

Bonus: I'm so totally going to Otakon, too! Coolness. ♥
